I
am a decorative artist who designs hand painted cabinet hardware, including
handpainted cabinet knobs, ceiling fan pulls, light switchplate covers, lamp
finials ,wine bottle stoppers and Christmas ornaments.
The base of the door pulls, fan pulls, finials and stoppers are round porcelain balls. The switchplates are also porcelain and the ornaments are a very thin porcelain ball. I paint them with a glaze that resembles watercolor and fire them in my kiln for a durable finish. Each is a unique piece of art...no two are alike!
